There are 3 mascots & 1 honourary mascot team member
Sumi, Quatchi, Miga, Mukmuk
Sumi is an animal spirit , flies with the wings of the  thunderbird and runs on the furry legs of the black bear. His name is derived from the Salish word "sumesh," meaning "guardian spirit."
Quatchi is a sasquatch, that loves all winter sports, and is especially fond of hockey and dreams of becoming a world-famous goalie. & is a shy and gentle giant.
Miga is based on the legends of the Pacific Northwest First Nations of orca whales which transform into bears when they arrive on land, Miga is also a snowboarder.
Mukmuk is a honourary member of the mascot team, a rare marmot unique to the mountains of Vancouver Island.
